Need Help for Gameboots for 3.40 oe-a

At first i used the GBMOD that resdirects the gameboot to load from the memory stick instead of the flash be it doesn't work any more is it possible in any way to use a gameboot with the size of 1 mb?

I would have to say that if you have that much space free in your flash0 then it should be no problem. Question though, why is your gameboot 1mb? That seems just a little big for a 2.5 second video.

I suggest you backup the original gameboot.pmf before you flash and if it does brick, use recovery to replace the original.

Hes not flashing it to anything!!! its on his memory stick because he redirected it from flash0 to his memory card... and yes it does work, it just cuts it off at 2.5 seconds, so it might not even be worth it because you wont see the whole thing :(

ok ok yes i get it. THe gameboot is from Chaos zero bleach devhook pack so like kinda like it but the problem is gbmod doesn't work. I mean i started to use it on 3.10oe and then 3.30 oe but it doesn't work on 3.40

PS I don't like the rest of the gameboot i don't like to flash big stuff but i like the redirection thing though

I havent tried 3.40 yet but the chances are the plugin has to be updated to suit the firmware, so often plugins have to be updated with new custom firmwares.

To bad there wasnt a way to extend gameboots (like you can for CIntro's) so you could have it bigger than 2.5 seconds. Yeah, there will be an updated version of a gameboot redirector soon I bet. What I would like to know is if it is possible to use CIntro at all with 3.30OEA' or 3.40OEA as DAX has fixed the autoboot that has been missing since 3.03OEC.

I havent used cintro for a while do to it bricking my old psp, because I upgraded a new custom FW and wanted to use cintro so flashed it, and didnt think about it not being compatible with the newly released FW :(

Well it was made for 3.02 oe but it has worked for 3.03, 3.10, 3.30 and not 3.40 or i have to reflash it but it uses a decrypted 302 opening_plugin.prx maybe thats why but i guess i'll try reflashing it because there's always recovery mode i keep an update on the progress
