hey all...

I d/l this emulator and put the nester.ds in the root of my R4, then put a NES rom in the root also. Now when I run the emulator, it comes up saying "no NES ROM found".

What am I doing wrong? Im not used to emulating on the DS :)

Im not sure, try patching the emulator with the DLDI thing, and btw you posted in the wrong section lol this is the wii section not the ds one...

It's not DLDI ready, you need to infuse a rom with the included software.

Damn you, you made me think there was some magic way to play your DS Emu's on wii.

ok...perhaps I am a noob, but I have NO Fricken idea how to get this thing to work.

I have inserted the ROM file with the included file and it gives me a file with no extension. I change the extension to nds.

i.e. double dragon --> double dragon.nds

however the nester program still wont detect the game. Also I cannot run the game outright without the nester program.

can somebody shed some light on this?

It's not meant to be called .nds I think.

it should be .nes I think or something similar.

ok....heres how you do it....insert the nester.nds file into the rom inserter, NOT the nester.gba.nds

insert you (game).nes rom and insert it with the name (game).nds

then load it straightup, not through nester.

it will work. although very slowly??
