Project Choas/Hedghog Heaven DC port

Im sure you have all heard of these 2 projects. If not, they are simply remixes of sonic 3 and knuckles, and sonic 2. There is a tool allowing you to play hedgehog heaven/any song as backround music on gens plus by qjimbo. Im asking if thier is any tool like this for sonic 3 and knuckles, but more importantly, is there a way to port functions like this to the dreamcast. thanks.

If these are modified (hacked) ROMs for use with an emulator, then you can play them with one of the MegaDrive/Genesis emulators for Dreamcast. I recommend to try the 26-06-2006 build of GenesisPlusDC.

An MP3 function is currently not implemented in GenesisPlusDC. It's a nice idea though and, who knows, maybe one day it'll make it into GPDC...

The closest to that on Dreamcast probably is the Retro Sonic game engine which allows OGG soundtracks. There's been demo release back in 2006: http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/index.php/Main/RetroSonic
