psp 3.40 OE-A help

I've done homebrew on the Dreamcast for years, but I'm new to homebrew on the PSP. I have a PSP with the TA-082 motherboard and 3.11 firmware. What are the steps I need to follow to install 3.40 OE-A? Is it even possible, or am I stuck with 3.11?

If it's official 3.11 firmware, your are stuck on there as there isn't a downgrader for that version yet.

your best option is to get a devolution (or UP) modchip.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I was afraid of. Guess now I just wait or grab another PSP with an older firmware.
