I've tested this and found:

1. Demos that caused the emu to exit or hang will now gracefully quit to the menu
2. Ty Fighter now works (keys seem to act strangely)
3. SNES9Xv000 can load a rom but the game i used (pacman) couldn't progress past the first screen. Need to try other roms.
4. SNES9Xv001 and Famicon do not work.
5. Bird Life 2 no longer causes a DrWatson; the emu simply closes down instead.

I've obtained a SNES9Xv001A, and also some more roms, and this works fine.

Still no luck with Famicon. I can select a rom, then I get a screen with
60
000001 1
0

and some faint japanese at the top left. Nothing happens after that.
