what if its one of those free ones that you get from playstation underground? wouldn't they be open to the public since they are free and were released for the public? or do the copyright prohibit from being ripped but not distributed? cuz i always thought u could distributed just not for a profit...

Even if it's not illegal, most people would just rather get the full version of the game.
