i don't think it can... look through the emulators for gamecube and see. the controller might be a little weird though....
Dreamcast's are cheap anyway, only around $30-40.
If you get one, you could still use DC backups which are illegal (check my sig) by burning them to a cd and using a backup running thing, or you could use the original cd's.............................................. ...........
which you can still buy for cheap....

if you wanna know about Wii emulation capabilities once it's been hacked for homebrew code, think about what the xbox has. since it doesnt have dreamcast, neither will the Wii.

Some titles are being ported to Wii such as Karous. Something to think about...

I wonder if you said the same in 1999

Because it's a 2007 title. You will not see old titles ported to the Wii.

One thing that you may want to note is the people saying it is impossible are refering to a homebrew emulator. Dreamcast on the virtual console could very well appear in the future......

Dreamcast games used either GD-Rom or CD-Rom.. Wii VC use 512 MiB of NAND flash memory for games storage. They would have to port it then skrink to get under the 512 MiB limit. I doubt it will happen.

I think he said for "games storage", which contains official games, homebrew games, games images/roms for emulators, etc.
