I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it so its flat again.
Also how do you take off the back plastic? ive taken off the face plate to fix my brothers analog stick (it was pressing directions all by itself) but did not find a way to remove the back. so yeah if anyone could help id greatly appreciate it.

Downgrading will definitely not affect the hardware of your psp, but I think you already knew that :)

Well, with my UMD slot it's the same, but I don't have any problems with playing umds and I don't worry about it...

there is a screw inside, that if you remove/untighten, lets the door relax, its on all PSP's.

Why would a 56K user need to be warned about one 800x600 picture?

As you can see the Pink/Black PSP is 1 year 5 months old and the white is 4 months old, My BL!nk PSPs UMD slot is open slightly and the white is firmly on!
