Before I get into whats wrong, ill start with what I was doing just incase thats what caused this.

I loaned my brother my psp while he went on his trip in the dominican republic. While he was there, he was playing tetris on sega genesis when the psp turned off, when he turned it back on, the screen was messed up but other than the screen it works PERFECTLY fine.

And before everyone says "ZOMG ITZ BRICKD" realize that i had NO programs capable of writing to the flash memory...

have you tried recovery and downgrading back to 1.5?

If you have, and it is still like that Then you have got a shitload of stuck pixels. try running any nuemorus pixel un-stickers for about 2-3 hours without stopping.

if that doesn't make anything work, then i suggest as a last resort buy a new psp LCD screen from divineo.

looks as if its been dropped,

check to see if all cables are plugged in correctly internally.

if thats the case then your screen is b0rked

Yeah looks more like a cable got loose. Just take your PSP apart and plug the cable firmly in (don't break it though :P).
