Does Sony new 8 GB memory stick pro duo work with the PSP v3.40. Prices are coming down and I would like to get one.

Yes but what about the fact that some games wont work with a bigger memory stick? *or is that just a dumb rumour*

as of right now, my friend is playing isos on his new sony 8 gig. but i personally would wait until scandisk comes out with one becuase they are so much better. and i would wait till the price goes down. i think 250 is a lot for memory

Yes, the PSP supports it, but any homebrew executing under the 1.5 kernel will not be able to address anything upwards of the 4GB limit. This has posed a problem for some people in the past.

so the best way to go is a 2gig memstick

2GB can get a little claustrophobic. 4GB sticks are pretty affordable now.

I got my Sandisk REAL 4GB from Play.com at £50.
There might be cheaper, though.

Mine was £40, from an online place which was linked from the news page. I can't remember what it was called, unfortunately.

Found it. I can recommend that site. Delivery was within a couple of days.

I went there to check the prices and they've actually gone DOWN. I would have bought another one if I had any spare cash!
