This is probably silly to all you people...but i just wanted to know.

I want to be able to put homebrew games on my 3.40 firmwire psp. What programs are necessary, and what do i do???:confused: :confused:

no you cant do anything unofficial to a psp with 3.10 +

Sorry. You can't run homebrew on a PSP unless it is running firmware version 1.5 or one of the custom firmwares. You can't install firmware version 1.5 or upgrade to a custom firmware from any official firmware version later than 3.03.

So, for now, you're SOL. It's possible that in the future exploits may be discovered in 3.40 that will allow downgrading to 1.5. If homebrew is important to you, then don't upgrade any further.

There is a modchip available, or you can buy a homebrew ready PSP from SuccessHK, amongst other places.
