Okay, so I've heard of the B2 fix that supposedly stops the random freezing problems that occur in some games. In order to fix the games you have to change the EBOOT game ids. However, I do not see how this method is workable on multi-disk games.

In games like Final Fantasy 8 and Chrono Cross (which are both supposedly "fixable" with the B2 change) you are supposed to save at the end of each disk and then load the next EBOOT for the next disk. However, according to my experiences, the games' second disks recognize the save data from first disks according to their Game IDs. Wouldn't this mean that if you change the game IDs of the first disk that the second disk won't recoginze it and that disk changing would be impossible? Or am I missing something here?

Thanks again guys,
The Sage

When you change the ID to the japanese version in the first disk, you've gotta use the very same id AND the game title for the second.

Haven't tried yet, but that's what I've heard.

aslong as the disks all have the same id and title it will work no problems

Okay, thanks. I'll give it a try then.
