FF7 on psp - Freezes! Help!

So I currently have 3.30 oe a' firmware on the psp. I load the game it goes all the way to the starting menu.

So I start a new game, but once it reaches the intro, it begins to freeze.

I have tried using 3.11's firmware, and same problem - it freezes at the intro again. Any suggestions?

It may be a bad rip

try re-ripping it. If that doesn't work, try to rename the ID to the jp version ID. If that dosn't work try to rip a friends disc?
