if they can do that and make the emu run like a gba would run gbc why not stop develpoing the gbc and quickly shift to gba, they appear to be half way there.

no. one thing is simply identifying the hardware as a gba, yet still only running gbc emulation (which is simple) the second thing is actually emulating gba hardware. Its almost like a region function, simply an identifier.

but if you can emulate the hardware, then you change the controls to the psp's, isnt that half the battle. only need to put some source code in to make the games run, im still a bit of a noob at porting understanding that is, so correct me if im wrong.

like i said, he isnt emulating gba hardware. he is simply has a hack that tells the rom that it is running on a gba. When the gba plays GB/GBC games, it just passes them to the gbc hardware inside the gba, so there is no need to emulate gba hardware, simply whatever it is that the gba tells the hardware to say it is a gba and not a gbc.
