right now, i have a psp version 2.6, which runs some emulators, but i want to downgrade to 1.5, since it can play right from the mem stick, and there are more emus for it, instead of using the eboot for 2.6 which can lock up when starting

but, i play burnout legends alot on my psp also, and noticed it has an update to 1.52, does it force you to update to play it? if so, is there anyway to bypass it?
and if it doesn't force me to upgrade, can i get custom backgrounds on my psp still?

thanks for any help, i'm still pretty much a newbie at this
