Come on were are the ps3 hacker someone needs to find the files that makes the demos on ps3 (like psp eboot.pbp) and make a converter for ps3 I would love to see bochs and basallisk make it to ps3 and many more homebrew apps. Don't be afaid its just homebrew

I beg to differ...

The reason I think there isn't much hacking is because of the price,it will come though.

I love my ps3, in fact I sold my laptop for it.Almost better than hacking it would be having RSX support so I can have beryl on it.

... You think it's simple? The PS3 won't run unsigned code without an expoit, unless it's through linux.

When an exploit is found, there will be homebrew.

I'd love a PS3 , if it was half the price it currently is , it's not even that I can't afford it I just find the price is dreadfully high.

Finding an exploit through linux will be like finding an exploit in the psp demos. It's not gonna happen.
I know what i'm talking about.
The operating systems have NO way of communicating, and there is no way to access anything that could lead to an exploit through linux. The only way is if sony forgot to put a piece of security in it somewhere. If they would, all we would need to do is install a vulnerable os and it would be hackable.
But I seriously doubt that.

Ken Kutaragi himself retired when he saw Playstation 3's failure in the console market. I'm sad to see him go though.

S34MU5, 7,765,056 like the Wii ;).

goldline and his silly fanboy logic :( saying that the ps3 sucks and that he spits on it just because "he" doesnt like it, just because you dont like it doesnt mean it sucks, all it means is that "you" dont like it.

this is not likely to happen until the price drops and some skilled coder that likes it could get one

And maybe since no one has discovered some exploits the original ones could still there

Also I see no reason for buying it right now, I need a kickass game (then I would be drooling at it)
