My PSP got stolen, so I need a new one.

and I read a news post some weeks ago that the newer PSP's would have a higher firmware than 3.03. so frankly it won't be downgradable.

Doe anyone know if its true??

If you are talking about the rumour that new PSP's would have firmware 4.00, and a undowngradable motherboard, then that was completely false.

However, the chances are that they have now been shipped with firmware over 3.03.

Thank you,

knew that the FW wasn't going to be 4.00, cause it's said that the next fw is going to be 3.50.

just the part with an fw over 3.03

Just look at the barcode. If there is a K, it has 2.71. If there is a J, it has 2.80, both downgradable without gta. Bestbuy is still selling them at 2.71, so hurry before their gone. Ebay is also good too.
