Note: The following is probably a stupid question. If you are easily annoyed, please press the back button now.

I just bought a PSP off of ebay with firmware version 3.03 OE-C (I won't actually get it 'til Friday, I'm asking this preemptively so that I have a better idea once it arrives). If I wanted to upgrade to Dark Alex firmware 3.40 OE-A, a. How hard would this be to do? and b. Realistically, what is the risk of bricking the PSP while doing this?

Thanks for any help that you can give me.

risk is minimal all you would do is follow the standard instructions to upgrade and if thier are any problems there is the recovery menu already installed. oe fws are a doddle to install personally ive installed and upgraded 3 psps with them and never once had a problem

You upgrade it just like you do a 1.50 psp, except you put the installers in game150 instead of game. All you do is take the 1.50 and 3.40 eboots, put them in a folder, run the program, take that file, and put it in the flasher folder, then run it, and your done!
