ok guys, my pc has broke down, though im still getting my wireless connection via Psp browser (hence the bad grammer). not wanting to miss out on homebrew, i was wondering if some helpful soul could upload an unzipped 1.0 eboot of file manager for me and the standalone unzip utility for Psp (its found in IRShell but was also available as a standalone). a bold task but i wanna get my homebrew and i think this is the only way at the minute. im on 3.3O OE btw. HELP!

Is This (Tipster Unzip/Unrar Utility 0.3) (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=26893) the zip/rar extraction tool you wanted?

There is a link to it at the bottom of this post as it wont let me upload a .PBP file here. There is a directory with some gfx that goes with it there too, I dont think you'll be able to see the OSK without them.
It was a 1.5 eboot, I made it into a 1.0 with sei psp tool, hope it works for you.

Do you know the name of the file browser you wanted?
fileassistant 0.4 (http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/fileasistant.shtml) or fileassistant++ (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=20843)?

The ++ one looks to have a neater GUI but it also has a lot of files besides the eboot that would be a hassle to download on the PSP so I uploaded fileassistant 0.4 to my webspace as well. I'm pretty sure thats the 1.0 eboot :)

Hope you can do something with that, wouldn't using a friend's/work's/school's PC be a whole lot easier though?

EDIT: how the hell do you choose where to save a file? It only lets me save the .pbp to /game/update :(

lol yeah i just noticed that. Update folder!? downer.
So its impossible to download, unzip and manage without a PC. With all these utilities, one would think that its possible. damn it! Now theres a new project for a coder.
Anyway thanks alot man for taking the time to upload the eboots. cheers!

It's not impossible, you just need to set up with a PC first. ;)

Once you've got a pair of programs like PSP Filer and AnonymousTipsters ZIP/RAR Utility (Or just IRShell) you're good to go. I've done downloads from this very board from my PSP.

Sad part, though, is that I don't think the browser would let you save anywhere where you could actually run an EBOOT. You'd need a File Manager to even do that much.

Best thing I think you could do is enlist the help of someone with a PC that you can hook up your PSP via USB.
