Hey there! I take it you might be a newbie at the homebrew scene for psp ect? so this is a brief explaining on the how to of running homebrew

1. upgrade from 2.01 to 3.03

2. use the 3.03 downgrader using GTA unpatched to go back to 1.50

3. you can stick on 1.50 but i reconmend as many people would to upgrade to dark alex's firmware!

4. upgrade 1.50 to 3.03/10/30/40 OEA :)

Please though dont follow this guide without anything else as chances are you psp will brick! Follow the safety... (is that the word?)... anyway follow the safety precautions so you psp will not turn into a massive brick...

so i reconmend looking up "1.50 downgrader" and "3.03oea" oh and get the (if you havent already) get the unpatched version of GTA LCS, should say on the side at the bottom "00151"

Jesus mat, he is on 2.01, he doesnt need to use the 3.03 downgrader. He can use the 2.71 dowgrader which has no GTA needed.

If you really dony want to downgrade to a fully homebrew compatable firmware you can use a eloader (http://www.noobz.eu/content/eboot.html)

PM me if you need any help.

Here is the 2.71 downgrader if you wish to use it.

GOD! What is it with people and their complete obliviousness to the hen downgraders? This dude might not have gta, and you're telling him to upgrade to 3.03.

I highly recommend using the ta-082 dg, even if you don't have a ta-082.
First upgrade to 2.71.

Thencheck if it's ta-082

Then use this downgrader:

If you don't have a ta-082, then just skip the idstoragechange part.

He has firmware 2.01, that means that his motherboard can't be a TA82!! The lowest firmware that is native supported by TA82 is 2.50 I think...

Yeah, i figured. But the ta-082 dg is still a lot safer. Plus, I've gotten to where I copy and paste the same thing for everyone. :p

i agree with triv1um, that would be like tellin sum1 on 1.51 to upgrade to 3.03, no need ppl!! defo go with the 2.71 downgrader, ive never had a brick from it.
