Hi, a few days ago i learned about this whole PSP emulator/homebrew thing (kind of lol)
i saw the Smash GP and completety fell in love with it since you can be characters from more than jus nintendo.
anyways i spent the past few hours reading all different websites and all the guides in this forum.
unfortunatly im still lost lol
i have a version 2.5 PSP and have the eloader downloaded on my PSP
i was trying to follow these 2 guides:
http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=53256&postcount=1
and
http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=100794&postcount=1
i downloaded both links from the second site but only got the installer on the PSP, the other file says i have to do something to my root folder but i dont think i have one, or at least i dont see one
i also have the downgrader from the first site but am not sure how to set that up =/
i spent a lot of time reading different sites and guides but still am not sure what to do next.
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanx

first check if you have a TA-082 motherboard, then check which downgrader to use if you are comfortable with flashing your psp.

this is the downgrader you were using but its the full installer (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/605)

Just run it on your computer and all the files will be directed to your memory stick

( just make sure you have enough space)

You have to have gta unpatched. (The update reads 2.0)

or would u recommend buying a new 1?

You can find them on ebay. Renting one will be your best bet, just get the oldest looking one.

2.71 downgrader?!!!

Upgrade to 2.71 and use the generic 2.71 downgrader. (google it)

That way you done need GTA.

I highly recommend the ta-082 downgrader instead, even if you don't have ta-082.

First upgrade to 2.71.
http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-PSP/p...8046/catid/163 (http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-PSP/pg/12/fid/8046/catid/163)

Then check if your mobo is ta-082
http://www.maxconsole.net/content_img/ta82spot.jpg

Then downgrade.

If you don't have a ta-082, just skip the idstoragechange part.

2.71 downgrader?!!!
Sorry, I didn't read the whole post! :p
