"Mozilla today officially launched Firefox 24 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android (https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2013/09/17/webrtc-now-available-across-mobile-and-desktop-with-new-firefox-for-android-compatibility/). Improvements include a new option to mass close tabs (http://thenextweb.com/apps/2013/09/17/firefox-24-arrives-with-option-to-mass-close-tabs-to-the-right-webrtc-support-and-nfc-sharing-on-android/) 'to the right,' as well as WebRTC support (https://hacks.mozilla.org/2013/09/firefox-24-for-android-gets-webrtc-support-by-default/) and NFC sharing on Android (https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2013/09/17/its-easier-to-share-your-favorite-web-content-with-firefox-for-android/). Firefox 24 has now been released over on Firefox.com (http://firefox.com/) and all existing users should be able to upgrade to it automatically. As always, the Android version is trickling out slowly on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox). Compared to Firefox 23, this isn’t a big release for the desktop. Mac users will notice a new scrollbar style on OS X 10.7 and users of the browsers social features will appreciate the ability to tear-off chat windows by just dragging (full release notes: desktop (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/24.0/releasenotes/), mobile (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/24.0/releasenotes/)).
