Hello everyone,
I just bought an US Dreamcast and I have one question :
Is it possible to play Japanese Games on my US system without any Boot CD ?
Thanks :)

Commercial Dreamcast games will only work with Dreamcasts of those regions that they've been published in, while homebrew, independent games (Feet of Fury, Last Hope, bleem!cast, etc.) and backups do work on all Dreamcasts.

If you really want to avoid using a boot disk, you could set your DC to Japanese with DC-Swat's Region Changer:

Yep, that's what I thought... but yesterday I've bought Jet Set Radio NTSC-J and it boot directly on my DC
It's very strange... so my DC will be Japanese inside but US outside ? My DC is HKT-3020 NTSC-U

If it's an original GD-ROM you bought (and not a warez'd version on CDR), then it's likely that your DC actually is Japanese but with the case of a North-American one.

Another option could be that someone already did a region mod.

Yep, it's an original.
So, i think i have to opening it to be sure.
What happens, it's not a problem for me because i only play japanese games (I'm lucky  )
Thanks to you.

Check under your Dreamcast, it should says NTSC-J
