hi

i seem to be unable to connect to my router on homebrew applications such as beup live 0.3, DSorganize (web browser) and bunjalloo web browser. but i am able to on commercial roms (games) such as pro evo 6 and mario kart.
my router is the free sky one (netgear) and i have tried bot WEP and no security with neither working i have also kept my SSID visible. i am using an M3 DS simply slot-1 TransFlash card. firmware v1.06.
can someone please help me.

Try checking http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=10320 and http://www.ds-xtra.com/Common_Homebrew_Wifi_Problems and see if they help.

Basically you want to change your WFC config to use all manual settings, as homebrew has a hard time with DHCP, the process of automatically obtaining an IP address and DNS servers.

Also note that if you have a Nintendo Wifi dongle, you must use modified drivers to turn it into a SoftAP before homebrew will work with it.

At least SSID Broadcasting is on, so that eliminates one possibility.

When i enter the info ie ip address gateway subnet mask and DNS and then "test connection" it doesn't seem to work.
sould i still use the WEP or try this without security
i'll continue trying other options and looking out for guides.

Thanx
