Use this (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1134) its proven to work, its safe, and best of all all you have to do is install it and its done for you.

( you can run this without having to downgrade to 1.5 first)

you have to access flash0 through recovery,
(reboot psp, and hold the the right trigger)
youll find it in the advanced options

now on your computer browse flash0 and find the resource folder and just overwrite the files that you intend on modding

hmm so just basically copy files from the theme onto the folder and it should overwrite them right? then ill be fine?

hmm when i tried to copy it said the disk space was full but i dont have almost anything on my mem card ive got 1.9k gb left O.o

when you access flash0 it reads it off internal memory not your memory card, so you must free up space.

when you get the file ready just go to where it says restore/ delete functions

uhh this thing is kinda confusing me xD i ran the start executable and i am reading the read me so now i just copy the folder into one of the theme things?

you run the exe to clarify you know the risk... then it will setup another exe and thats what you must use

after i used the start exe and agreed it just closed it after a little bit then nothing else happened

hmm ok i copied all the files to the correct folders in themes folder except one called sysconf_plugin.rco im going to recheck for a folder for it but am i doing it all right? THEN i exectue the start program again?

yep, all the folders must be there, and itll create a backup for you, but i suggest creating another manually just in case..

how do i do that? and also there are some folders empty (backup,complete_themes,html_viewer_res,location_f ree,XMB_Sounds) wow this stuff is confusing and hard xDD with the way it seems im going i might need a whole step by step tutorial for all of this x.x

hmm i tried to go into my psp menu to see if it worked and wow the screen was all white but at least the font was right? =/ >.<

oh.. simple go to theme settings on your psp, go to theme and select the first month you see... right under original ( reboot your psp and youll have it)


and i also never found a folder for sysconf_plugin.rco

its in the rescource folder

yay xD ive got the other exe as you said before now im at menu with 7 options which should i pick first and next and so on

to tell the truth i think the first time i couldnt get the second exe up was because i wasnt in too much of a hurry and typed yes instead of 1 on the agreemeant and it said it was deleting all files xD i can hit myself about now =p

k i got rid of dummy 1 and network update features any suggestions on what else to delete or is that enough?

delete the camera function and prolly the rss function unless you use them.

ok looked at screen and still all white no bakground >.< i cna see font is working and battery icon looks fine

ok everything is working except my background image im so close what should i do? the image thing is in my resource folder should it be somewhere else?
