PS1 Game Compression

has there been success with compressing PS1 games to sizes such as 20-50 MB on PSP? I read before that it was not working or somne people did it but others could not. Thanks in advance

My experience is that PS1 ISO compression has always been game dependent no matter what platform you plan to use it on.

It's simply a matter of compressing and see what you get.

There are some methods for removing movie files and sound I believe, but that kinda stuff tends to be more hassle then help. Many time you get done removing unneeded files only to find that game won't run or something else.

Use IceTea 1.3 ;). I've compressed Tekken 3 to only 40~MB.

There are alot of playable ps1 games that run with like 10-40 mb. Its mostly due that people have made rip version of the games where they have deleted the beginning movie and the music and stuff. When you do that kinda thing you get 30-40 mb games.
