i have just got a dreamcast and plugged it all in and when it asks 4 the date and time the controller wont move or anythin now i dont no anything about this if i need to buy anythin eles i have

console
2x controllers
power lead
tv lead
game

i have tryed both controllers could someone please help me

Ok, all you will need to do is power off the console and make sure the ports are clean on the pads and the console then plug them back in and see if they work...

...If that doesn't work your Dreamcast's control port is faulty ???

cleaned both and still nothing do you need anyting in the controller like a memory card because all i have is the controller?

No, the memory card (VMU) is only needed for gamesaves which isn't necessary.

thank you for everyones help i found out what the problem was it was the f1 fuse on the controller pcb
