Does anyone know a way (besides converting the .m4p -> .mp3) to play .m4p's on Moonshell? It would be nice if there was an easier way than converting. LIke a patch or something, whatever works.

No. m4p is a DRM protected AAC file (mp4) and cannot be played on anything besides your itunes and ipod. However, Moonshell has low bitrate AAC support, but you'd have to strip the DRM first.
