I read the "library" sticky, but a lot of of the links seem to be broken (well, broken links within the threads) so im a bit lost with all the things needed to download and such. I have a 3.50 and am preparing to go get lumines soon. I just want to research as much as possible before taking the big leap. I also only use a 1.0 gig stick, should I get a larger one for running emus and other Psp progs? Im not yet interested in getting ISOs.

So, links to threads where I can increase my knowledge, and links to the downloads I need are all appreciated.

Im new to homebrewing, but im not new to forums in general, I know that all the newbs making threads asking for help sucks, ive read the stickies and tried figuring stuff out on my own, I just need direction now. Thank you.

1 GB is good, if it's only used for homebrew stuff ;)

The best forums for asking questions are:
Here
forums.qj.net
pspcrazy.com <- 2nd best for downloads
pspiso.com <- Best for downloads

I reccomend getting a 4gb if you want to use stuff like movies, music, and iso's. They cost about $70 USD.

NP354, i designed that one 3.XX OE CFW USER userbar :)

yeah only get a 4 gig if you want it for porn as 1 gig is plenty enough to store homebrew

Well guys, your looking at the proud new/old owner of a 1.50 psp. Everyone I appreciate where yall were going with your advice, but I meant more in regard to links and programs and stuff, although, im getting along my way pretty nicely if I do say so myself. I guess Ill find out soon enough, but I'm looking to install an SNES emulator and look around at some of the other progs that are available...

Do I need something like a Eloader to do that? that the kinda advice I need most right now.

EDIT: Okay. im severely lost now.I was looking to install the 3.40 OE-A or someting like that, but the "normal" version requires the older updates, I think, and the "easy 320% noob proof" one requires making the psp 3.01 "kernel" and I dont know what that means. On top of that, I cant get the SNES emulator working, I think because I dont have a loader, if a loader is what I think it is. Will the 3.40 OE one allow me to run homebrew? I assume it will.
Man i am really lost... help.

Humbly yours,
Leon.
