Well, My xbox 360 broke.
(Red ring of death :( and I modded the case so I can't return it.)

So I decided to power up my psp after months without use and months without DCEmu)

I wanted to use homebrew and I lost track of everything a long time ago.

I have 2.71
Is it possible to get back to 1.5 or 2.00? or can I use homebrew on 2.71

I'd search but I thought I would ask for help to make it easier. :o

Their is in fact a downgrader for 2.71 that uses a tiff exploit ( all psps are compatible), their are two versions... a Ta-082 version and a normal one.

The Ta-082 version (http://www.modchipstore.com/support/images/ta82spot.jpg) will be harder to do so because that means that vital firmware files are within the motherboard, so the files must be patched. ( a seperate downgrader from the normal one will do this automatically for you)

TO INSTALL:

You'll need this first (http://dl.qj.net/Homebrew-Enabler-for-2.71-Revision-D-(HEN-D)-PSP/pg/12/fid/11444/catid/114) (Hen)

It allows you to run unsigned code for the moment ( long enough to downgrade)

Then use one of the 2.71 downgraders depending on which version you have

normal (http://dl.qj.net/2.71-PSP-Downgrader-Downdater-PSP/pg/12/fid/9746/catid/114)

(Ta-082) (http://dl.qj.net/2.71-(TA-082-and-TA-086)-Downgrader-Corruption-free-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/13187/catid/151)

Be SURE not to use the non TA-082 on a ta-082.
Worst way to brick your psp, is from stupidity.
