Famitsu magazine is the bible of gaming in Japan, and its reputation is known worldwide. When a new game comes out, the question on many importers minds is what did it get in Famitsu? Did Famitsu like it? Their scores make news on game sites across the globe, and indeed here in each of our Weekly Gaming Updates. Now at the end of this week, their second PSP Special Edition is due out, and it contains a UMD demo of Sony's upcoming RPG, Tenchi no Mon (Heaven Key Earth Gate). Best of all though, we have it cheaper than anywhere in the world, at just US$ 9.95. You will not beat this special Lik-Sang price, it's half the price of most importers!
Developed by Climax, Tenchi no Mon spans 9 continents which resemble ancient China, and playing as 17-year old Shinpu, you'll learn 5 different types of martial arts, and collect over 150 kinds of Sword Sheets. These allow you to use certain techniques, and by combining them, you'll gain access to chain attacks. One gamer quite rightly said "it looks like Dynasty Warriors on steroids with an RPG system!" To much fan applause too, this was just announced for a US release by Christmas. The world first playable demo is right here in Famitsu however, and naturally it'll run on any region PSP, and comes in a standard PSP style case.</BLOCKQUOTE>
