I'm running 3.40 oe-a and was wondering if it supported zipped PSX games. If so, do I just zip the eboot? and what kind of zip formats are supported/ which is best for games.

thanks.

When you compress a psx game with pops, it compresses it to about 99.7% of it's full extent of compression.
Zipping a fully compressed psx game would make a 350.4MB eboot into 350.1MB.

And don't talk about psp isos on the forums, even if it is your own dump, it's against the rules.

lol, pops is the psx emulator on custom firmwares.

Ultra N00bish question, you are using pops and not the homebrew psx emu aren't you? looool

I know it's the emulator but I thought it might also be a program for compressing the eboots....

and yes, I am using it.

what does he mean by compressing with pops though? its not involved in that process at all

With later pops versions you can compress the eboots.
