so i just got 3.40 OE-A and have been trying a bunch of GBA emulators for the PSP, but none seem to work, i keep getting a "Game could not start" when trying them. do i need to put them in a different folder (putting them in PSP/GAME/) or get a different version.
also, what are the best PSX and GBA emulators?

Put them in PSP/GAME150
You may have to create the folder.

The psx emulator is built into 3.40 OE-A.
gpSP 0.9 is the best gba emulator.

for gpsp you need the bios which you can find on google rename it to gba_bios.bin then place it in the emulator folder

so, i created the GAME150 folder, but all i get is corrupted data.

so how would i go about using the PSX emulator in 3.40 OE-A?

Also, how would i go about backing up my games onto my Mem. Stick and playing them from the Mem. Stick. i tried UMDEmulator 0.8c and Fastloader v7.

Don't use a PSX emulator, just rip the games that you own with UltraISO or something, can't really talk about that stuff, but then just convert the ripped games that YOU OWN, and that's it. To convert your ripped games to EBOOT, use Icetea, it's really simple.

the psx emulator is actually made by sony and is present in all 3+ firmwares.

although in oe its unlocked so normal ps1 game rips of the GAMES YOU OWN will work on it :)

ok, thanx. i got my UMD rips to work (do they automatically just work, because the emulators i download, said they were corrupt, but when i ripped it, i went to my games menu, popped in a UMD that wasn't the game i ripped, and it played.)

gpSP is showing up now, but says i need the bios (downloading it now).

the other problem i have is with the Universal Remote, it starts up, than says "Goodbye" at the top then goes back to the PSP menu.

You can't forget to put the "remote" folder on the root of the memstick.

can i ruin my PSP by changing the CPU speed to 333 or anything higher then the default?

and what does the "toggle usb (flash 0/1)" do in recovery mode?

1. No, it'll only use more battery.

2. It lets you view and edit the flash, the internal memory of the psp. VERY DANGEROUS if you do not know what you are doing.

333 is the real speed the psp should be going but sony made it go at default speed (222) because the battery would get drained a little faster. so no it wouldnt ruin your psp

I use magiciso, it works flawlessly. Make sure you aren't ripping them to .uif's.

Rip the games to bin/cue, then convert them with simple popstation gui or icetea. (Google)

What's wrong with the simple popstation? All you have to do is create a bopsbat and it's easy. By the way i'm almost on my 10th post! and i almost joined here a year ago! :p

ok, so now i have another problem, when using Daedalu R12.

i start up Daedalus, then i go to the roms and select them, but when i select them, i just get a black screen and nothing happens.
