I despratly want to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles on my PSP.
however, I don't have the .SMD file of it, just the .BIN dump.
anyway I can find the .SMDs (not asking for a url! heh) or convert the .BIN files to .SMDs? Please help me? lol

Well the 'legal way' to reply to you would be to tell you to use a Super Magic Drive, which is whats dumping the information on the real cartridge of the game, that device will dump the information in .SMD format which is used by many emulator.

But that's assuming you have the game cart ad the Super Magic Drive, which i would be surprised. Or google for an application called 'GeneConv v0.9', this software should let you convert .bin to .smd, and .smd to .bin

So here was the best answer i was able to come with.

THat means the rom you have is corrupt/ doesn't work with the emulator. Try downloading it in smd format or if it only comes in bin try renaming it. You just change the extention.
