If one doesn't exist, I wonder if one can be easily made just using some parts from an Xbox or PS2 controller.

Try HERE (http://www.consolesandgadgets.co.uk/catalog/wireless-controller-p-35.html)

The pad looks like a third party Saturn pad, and there is NO analogue

This is IR, not RF, i tried one out way back in the days. It works, but you'll have to be in front of the receiver, otherwise it loses signal... (it's an exact replica of the Saturn version) If someone could just produce it with RF!

It also has replacement d-pad pieces to slap on and has no rumble support...
(think it's made by Treamcast)

Messiah Entertainment are the guys who have a good shot at making good quality wireless DC controllers.

Their wireless 2.4GHz SNES and NES controllers are equivalent to the the wavebird in greatness.

In fact they mention on there site that they are always considering the creation of one.

Is Messiah planning on making Wireless Dreamcast Controllers? (http://www.playmessiah.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticl eid=805)

The basic answer says, is that if they get enough emails requesting it they will make a pair. So everyone who reads this, do all DC fans a favor and shoot em a email! And pass along the message!

Hello,

Thanks for contacting Messiah Entertainment, Inc. We are not currently working on Wireless Dreamcast Controllers, however we have been getting a lot of requests for them and we are taking this into serious consideration. When you purchase other Messiah products on www.playmessiah.com, make sure to leave us a note that you would also like to buy Wireless Dreamcast Controllers some day.

Messiah Entertainment is a family owned and operated company based out of Los Angeles, California. We are firmly committed to the classic gamer because we love the classics and think everyone should be able to enjoy them. New development is quite expensive and we have to ensure that there is sufficient demand before we will launch into a new product. Those products that our customers request most often, or generate the most support will be developed first. We will consider almost any retro gaming product, as long as we feel that there is enough support for it. So spread the word and you never know what might happen.
