I using PSPVNC and it works fine... you need an static IP address set up in Network Configurations.
All you need is install an VNC server in PC and make a new connection in PSPVNC with the PC IP address and the correct port (5900 is default).
Im using the latest version with 3.40 kernel.
I tested with latest PSPVNC and RealVNC server in windows... in Linux i use vncserver wich came with Fedora.

Yes i said it too in my post...
I using the 3.x firmware version. To make it works it must be in GAME340 folder. The 1.5 firmware version must be on GAME150... all both works, but if you put then in wrong place it will freeze (it happened with me)

80020001 and 800244C means generic Kernel error.
What are the kernel mode of your PSP ?
