3.03 OE-C to what?

Hi,

Been away for 5 months and out of the loop. Currently running 3.03 OE-C i think, so what is the latest good firmware i should update to?

i was on 3.03 OE C as well for a very long time and the best latest custom firmware right now is 3.51 M33. for those who say it has bugs. no it does not. some people would rather choose 3.40 OE and i dont know why

i have 3.4oe-a and i like it just fine.

i havent tried the m33 update cause i havent really looked into it and i dont really know what advantages it has.

but 3.40e-a is good enough for me right now

advantages
-well its a higher firmware so it can play commercial games that need firmware 3.51
-plugins work for homebrew
-sony's no umd driver is cracked so now we have close to 100% no umd compatibility

disadvantages
-you can only use custom battery icon if its 3.51 decrypted. if u use any other battery icon your psp will freeze when trying to go into usb mode on the xmb.

other than that its the same as 0E

the cintros work alot better
its 3.51 not 3.40
better no-UMD mode
a cool new recovery menu. :cool:

thats about it nothing much but theres no disadvantages (not that i'v noticed anyway)

Oh and you can now use custom battery icons with M33 so theres no need to stay on 3.40
