i was playing a snesx9 emulator for my psp.
i got board, and tried to quit, but it froze in the "home" screen. when your in the screen, you can still hear the sound from the game, and i hard a clicking sound (the kind of sound that thee psp makes when you push the dpad buttons).

when i restarted it, the up button on the d-pad kept clicking "up", so i cant scroll down or anything. plus, when i try to go to the emulator again, it just shpws a blk screen, and when im using homebrew, all the games wont let me use the home button.

any ideas on what to do?

thanks in advance!

well you just semi-bricked your psp's firmware, but if you press the up button for while (10 min max.)
it should fix its self. that worked for me on the triangle
button. and you should reinstall your firmware. if that does not fix it then flash the official sony FW and get a new psp. (if your warenty is not void like mod chip or something.):)
