with a chip installed, with the wii read anything from cd-r

I've searched through the forums and cdr is too short to search for, and cd-r didnt return any results. So forgive me if this information is already available.. can the wii read data (dols) from a cd-r.. as in not a dvd?

I just installed the wiikey and things are going great.

I have a dvd burner on my other computer but it's at the office and im stuck in a damn wheel chair as of last sunday :/

All I have is a cd burner on the laptop.

I don't think it can mate, only dvds, you can have some info on sd card that can be read e.g. vids and music but as far as I know not cd's

nope only dvd's whether it's dvd+ or dvd- its all up to the wii itself
