Bomberman's been around for almost 20 years, touching almost every console out there, now including NDS and PSP. First lets look at the NDS edition, where the battle action takes place on both screens, and you can enable the microphone so shouting or blowing into it can drop bombs, activate remote explosives, or put up a shield! Tired of starting each new single player level back as the slow weakling Bomberman? For the first time now you can stockpile powerups and keep them for when you need them. Multiplayer is as always where the real fun is at with Bomberman, and battle mode supports up to 8 wireless connections with just one cartridge.

Bomberman: Panic Bomber on PSP however is a different twist on the gameplay, and very similar to Puyo Puyo. Matching the same colored Bomberman heads in a row is the name of the game, and as players of the former mentioned title will know, this on it's own is an incredibly addictive force. Throw in bombs however, and you've got even more to concentrate on. If placed strategically, you can set off massive chain reactions that blast all the bombs on screen, and at the same time send your opponents some unwelcome gifts.

With the chaos of up to 4 players going at it at once via wireless, this PSP puzzler is a total blast (pun intended). Lastly to top things off, in a first for the PSP, only one UMD disc is required between the four consoles, making this multiplayer puzzler a game anyone with a PSP can join in on!

First bomberman GBA game had 4 player single play cart play and was a blast, this will be no different, shame that the DS version does not have online play
