The Magi and The Sleeping Star (MSS) is a Type-1 Diabetes self-management video game designed to educate those with Juvenile Diabetes through the use of innovative gameplay. It’s an action adventure fantasy in which the hero must maintain balanced blood sugar to use his magical abilities against robot armies and towering monsters. What sets MSS apart from other health games is that it’s not only a powerful educational tool, but an exciting action-packed adventure capable of standing as a great game in its own right. MSS was initially brought to life as a simple prototype developed by Adam Grantham and a small team of student artists in 2008.
