I couldn't get any PS1 emulators to work on my PSP so i went to a torent site and downloaded a file called FF7D1PSP.

Inside was a file called EBOOT.PBP and its 731MB.
And another file called KEYS bin file and its only 1KB

now i normally hate asking stupid questions, but can someone tell me how to put that on my memory stick so it will run?

When i put it in a folder called FFVII in my game folder it apears on my PSP but says the game cant be started because its corrupted.

i just want to play!

my psp is version 1.5 so that all my other emulators and roms will work. do i need to run a system upgrade to play this FF7 file? and if i update... would i need to use a downgrader to play all my old stuff?

u need 2 upgrade to a custom firmware 3.03OE or higher and ur game will run fine!

custom firmwares has all the powers of 1.5 plus everything the latest firmwares have, so u can play new games and still have emulators etc etc

3.52 M33 (my recommended firmware)
and popstation GUI
download it and it will convert PS1 files to PSP eboot files and even transfer them for you
