Triangle button not working

Please help me, triangle button suddenly stopped working, i have replaced the powerswitchboard/abxy board but it is still not working. Also tried to replace the rubber/button thing.

Just tried something murgero1 wrote on another tread, just hold the button down for a long time and then it suddenly worked...thanks again murgero1!

Can somebody tell me what happen?

same happened with my r button and i just put my psp down for a while and it started working. if you replaced all the hardware, try installing the firmware again.
