If the author could make use of the extra memory in the Opera Browser or EZ Flash 3 in 1, I'm SURE that would go a long way for an app like this.

RAM Unlocking API Collection:

Ez Flash 3 in 1 for only $19.05!

Unfortunately, it won't make that much difference. Access to that RAM is very slow compared to system RAM. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

What does this program do exactly?

i think it unzips files from a .zip or .7z folder

Close. It can compress and extract *.gz files (GZip) and can also extract *.zip (Info-Zip) files as of this release.

Thanks for your work carpman, finally something I can use when DSLinux's unzip fails.

I wish he would add support for compressing whole folders. Making backups on the card is a very very attractive idea

Strider1120: Working on that now, expect a release today or tomorrow.

Please no advertising... it's not cool.

Didn't pepsiman take that out a while back because it wasn't working?

I'm still using an old RAM build since my 2 GB miniSD card doesn't like the DLDI build. I did notice however that the DLDI build on my other card did indeed lack the unzip functionality. It worked sometimes for me, but this tool should be more reliable.

There is a patch available for busybox to increase it's zip compatibility. Unfortunately it hasn't been included in the main builds yet.

Yeah, I saw your upload in the other thread. I still do not know how to use it. Do I use it to replace one of the source files and recompile? Of course, I moved all my source files to the external hard drive to save space, so it may be a while before I get the chance to recompile again, so I'll just use DSCompress for now.

In response to the GBA slot RAM comment, it would have no positive effect. RAM in the GBA slot is so slow I have problems describing it using the English language.
