It's no surprise that Activision is putting a lot of thought into getting git-box game Guitar Hero III on the go, but exactly how they plan on doing it may be a little clearer after a new interview with RedOctane cofounder Charles Huang. He says that a special peripheral on the DS is "definitely one of the options" they're exploring, adding, "the DS peripheral is very intriguing to us. It's an integral part of the Guitar Hero experience, so as much as possible, we would like to keep it within the experience as long as it makes sense and it plays well."

Dearest Activision, unless you already have a patent firmly squared away, we would like to humbly offer our prototype as seen above. Please contact us for the mailing address where you can send the giant novelty check for $1 billion dollars.

Lmao!!! That picture is great...

There's no need for peripherals. Just make it so you strum with the touch screen... Either by holding a button and strumming one string, or by strumming different colored strings on the screen.

The only reason they're planning on making a peripheral that you need to play it, is so they can fill their pockets with your money.

Two dollars to make it in a third world country. Their price for you? Forty bucks... Plus another forty for the game.

Still trying to figure out whether to read "$1 billion dollars" as "one billion dollars dollars" or as "one dollar billion dollars."

just take a normal guitar and remove the strings, then glue your ds onto it. simple. tactile feedback isn't possible on a ds touch screen, though, it'll be a little difficult to strum properly when you can't technically feel anything

if they make one, it'll be a gba slot blugin in the shape of a mini guitar (It'd have to be mini)
