Ridiculous-yet-popular mockney gangster franchise The Getaway is apparently heading to PSP, according to a newly added listing from US e-tailer EBgames.com

The listing, now currently half-deactivated - it shows up in the website's search function but leads through to a dead page - calls the game The Getaway: Gangs of London and suggests a release date of 1 November.

EBgames.com is getting a bit of a reputation for revealing unannounced or non-dated releases. Recently the website revealed a number of new Xbox 360 games, including a conversion of Burnout Revenge, which the site expects to launch alongside the console.

EBgames.com also lists six other new titles: Untold Legends 2, Ape Escape 3, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, Tourist Trophy, Rogue Galaxy and Virtual Pool.

What I don't get, is why Sony would keep ANY games under wraps right now. Nintendo is having a field day with game announcements. If anything, Sony needs to announce many more games (if they are in fact being made).

I'm personally interested in Syphon Filter - I hope it's really coming.
