View Full Version : analog problem after new faceplate

the screw holes that hold the analog to the faceplate are too long
so they create excess pressure on the contacts for the analog stick
which inturn confuses it and makes it move on its own
does anyone know how to solve this?

i was thinking about a file, but its too hard to get at with a tool

Yeah there is! make sure you screw the screws the same tightness! dont make one weaker than the other! that will work!

i had both as tight as they'd go

i actually measured the ..things (where it screws into) and the ones on the new shiny red faceplate are slightly (very slightly) longer

there is ONE simple solution if the screws are too long, BUY SHORTER ONES from any hardware store

its not the screws
its where the screws screw in to


i actually measured the ..things (where it screws into)

that part is FAIRLY easy to understand
and the faceplate doesnt come with screws anyway
you have to use the original ones
