Hi I'm new to the PSP scene and I'm finding it difficult to find a straight answer.

Are there any emulators out or in development that support 2 or more players? This could be local or online. Wireless or otherwise. The systems I'm interested are: NES, SNES, GBC, PS1, N64, MAME.

Have you gotten that to work?

Everytime I've tried to get adhoc to work Nesterj crashes.

yeah i have no problems with 1, 2, & 4 gig setups, and u need to be real patient with it, if it doesn't work try it again, the first few times will suck, and if you keep changin the other psp's that doesnt help either...if u constant play w 1 other psp it'll connect better everytime, and some games do run like ass tho

The wifi on snes9x is annoying cuz it has to reconnect like every five seconds

I use Snes9xTYL 0.4.2me.

I play it often using in ad-hoc netplay. I works pretty well. Each PSP is assigned a controller port and I usually play Contra 3 with it with friends. I recommend it.

Is it just 2 players or can there be 3 or 4? Also, is there a NES emulator that will go 2 players?

The SNES only supported two players.

Actually it supported up to 5 players. You had to buy a multitap to get over 2 players. Secret of mana is 3 player co-op. Theres also a hack that allows seiken densetsu 3 multiplayer with 3 controlled characters. I think the multitap came with super bomberman, which was up to 4 players in deathmach. The third top gear game was 4 player, but not very good. I think some of the NBA Jam games were 4 player as well. Anyways, the question is still remains: Will it run 3-5 players?

well ok skip, it probably doesnt have 3-5 multyplayer since very few games have that abilty. and if u want a faster answer to your question asking if they will work, how bout u try them out yourself?
