i wanted to ask this here, before i went and tried it myself and did something stupid, or something.

so, i have an old psp battery- but it wont hold a charge, at all (i have no idea as of why). can i still use it for a Pandora's battery thing? i mean, obviously it doesn't have a charge. so, could it possibly work? like, if i had it plugged up at the same time?

I'd like to have a backup Pandora, just in case, lol.

sorry if i sound like a complete nub (because i AM a complete nub)!

As long as you keep the AC Adapter in at all times it should work fine.

Pandora's battery doesn't work when the AC plug is in. If the battery doesn't hold a charge it is useless.

Actually, all you need the PSP to do is go into service mode.
Once the IPL is hooked you can plug in the DC and remove the battery.
Downgrade and recover at will.
Power off the PSP and turn it back on...
Pandora will still be there until the DC is unplugged.

You are not a nub, its a good question.
As long as the battery has enough juice to send the serial number
and then supply it DC power, your good to go.
And save your money...
