Yep it does. Everytime I on the internet it keeps coming up with a message saying "rules automatically created for synmatic network proxy service"
...wtf does that mean. Lol
Anyway it does it like 20 times when I go on a page and it won't stop coming up, and only half the page or less works.
I'm really angry now, I hate it when network fails.
Lesson today folks is that Norton internet security sucks. Always has done, its slowing down my pc and internet big time. :(

Yeah, Norton requires too much ram. And it doesn't protect your PC.

I suggest you go with McAfee!

I have no problems with Norton 360, i even click on some viruses intentionally ( porn, keygens) to see if itll protect me... and nothing has gotten by it yet ;)

Yeah, Norton is evil.

My favorite anti-virus is AVG. :)

Is AVG any good?

I like avast over every anti-virus I've tried over the years.

Yeah, I'd like to know too.
I'm thinking about switching anti-virus, but don't know what to.

Does the Avast guy scare you when it does a check and it says "Virus database has been updated" ???

It scares the hell out've me when I'm tired (at around 3am) and it does it when I least expect it to! lol :D

I actually like norton. It has killed every virus I had on my pc. But I recently uninstalled it because I upgraded my spy sweeper software. It supports anivirus.

Spy sweeper is the best in my opinion.

Norton tells you every time you hit trouble, each and every break is annoying as you have to click out. Avast the one I use and prefer deals with everything itself! (so I don't have to) :p

Is Spy Sweeper anygood? :)

Switch to NOD32.

This man speaks wise words. NOD32 is the best AV utility I've ever used.

It is the best (and least memory-hungry) AV I've used, coupled with Fort Knox Firewall, I'm happy with my system.

I use NOD32 by itself. I love it!

I refuse to waste my memory with any type of virus scanner as they slow down computers to a crawl. In fact, your computer will probably preform better with some viruses than mcrappy or norton.

I do my surfing, shopping, etc on a linux box. Windows is just too much of a virus magnet these days.

I switched to linux (ubuntu 7.10 developers build right now) full time and I love it no viruses, great community, great software, flexibillity.. and all the other awesome things plus it's not windows (although it does run windows apps.) also Ive got xp dualbootable and it runs in a virtual box if I load virtualbox im collecting viruses on my virtual winblows machine.

The ubuntu community is excellent. unlike most distros "RTFM!" snobs, ubuntu's community is very respectful and helpful (though there are always a few assholes).
